Recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es de 2007 da Comiss\u00e3o Internacional de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Radiol\u00f3gica.\u00a0Publica\u00e7\u00e3o 103 da ICRP. Ann.\u00a0ICRP 37 (2-4).<\/p>\n<p><strong>A dose equivalente comprometida<\/strong>\u00a0recebe o s\u00edmbolo\u00a0<strong>H (t)<\/strong>\u00a0, onde t \u00e9 o tempo de integra\u00e7\u00e3o nos anos seguintes \u00e0 ingest\u00e3o.\u00a0A unidade SI de\u00a0<strong>H\u00a0<\/strong><strong>(\u00a0<\/strong><strong>t\u00a0<\/strong><strong>)<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e9 o\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiation-dosimetry.org\/pt-br\/o-que-e-sievert-unidade-de-dose-equivalente-definicao\/\"><strong>sievert<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(Sv) ou ainda\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiation-dosimetry.org\/pt-br\/o-que-e-roentgen-equivalent-man-rem-unit-definition\/\">rem<\/a>\u00a0(roentgen equivalente man) ainda \u00e9 comumente usado (\u00a0<strong>1 Sv = 100 rem<\/strong>\u00a0).\u00a0A unidade de sievert recebeu o nome do cientista sueco Rolf Sievert, que fez grande parte dos primeiros trabalhos sobre dosimetria em radioterapia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Absor\u00e7\u00e3o Interna de Dose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Se a fonte de radia\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 dentro do nosso corpo, dizemos, \u00e9 a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o interna.\u00a0A ingest\u00e3o de material radioativo pode ocorrer por v\u00e1rias vias, como ingest\u00e3o de contamina\u00e7\u00e3o radioativa em alimentos ou l\u00edquidos, inala\u00e7\u00e3o de gases radioativos ou pele intacta ou ferida.\u00a0A maioria dos radionucl\u00eddeos fornecer\u00e1 muito mais doses de radia\u00e7\u00e3o se, de alguma forma, puderem entrar em seu corpo, do que se ficassem fora.<\/p>\n<p>Mas quando um composto radioativo entra no corpo, a atividade diminui com o tempo, devido \u00e0\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nuclear-power.com\/nuclear-power\/reactor-physics\/atomic-nuclear-physics\/radioactive-decay\/\">deteriora\u00e7\u00e3o radioativa<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0e \u00e0\u00a0<strong>depura\u00e7\u00e3o biol\u00f3gica<\/strong>\u00a0.\u00a0A diminui\u00e7\u00e3o varia de um composto radioativo para outro.\u00a0Para esse fim, a meia-vida biol\u00f3gica \u00e9 definida na prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra radia\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0<strong>meia-vida biol\u00f3gica<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e9 o tempo necess\u00e1rio para que a quantidade de um elemento em particular no corpo diminua para metade do seu valor inicial devido \u00e0 elimina\u00e7\u00e3o apenas por processos biol\u00f3gicos, quando a taxa de remo\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 aproximadamente exponencial.\u00a0A meia-vida biol\u00f3gica depende da taxa na qual o corpo normalmente usa um determinado composto de um elemento.\u00a0Os is\u00f3topos radioativos que foram ingeridos ou absorvidos por outras vias ser\u00e3o gradualmente removidos do corpo atrav\u00e9s do intestino, rins, respira\u00e7\u00e3o e transpira\u00e7\u00e3o.\u00a0Isso significa que uma subst\u00e2ncia radioativa pode ser expelida antes que ela tenha se deteriorado.<\/p>\n<p>Como resultado, a\u00a0<strong>meia-vida biol\u00f3gica<\/strong>\u00a0influencia significativamente a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nuclear-power.com\/nuclear-power\/reactor-physics\/atomic-nuclear-physics\/radioactive-decay\/radioactive-decay-law\/half-life\/effective-half-life\/\"><strong>meia-vida efetiva<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0e a dose geral da contamina\u00e7\u00e3o interna.\u00a0Se um composto radioativo com meia-vida radioativa (t\u00a0<sub>1\/2<\/sub>\u00a0) \u00e9 eliminado do corpo com uma meia-vida biol\u00f3gica t\u00a0<sub>b<\/sub>\u00a0, a meia-vida efetiva (t\u00a0<sub>e<\/sub>\u00a0) \u00e9 dada pela express\u00e3o:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.radiation-dosimetry.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/effective-half-life-biological-half-life-definition.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24974 lazy-loaded\" src=\"http:\/\/www.radiation-dosimetry.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/effective-half-life-biological-half-life-definition.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"176\" height=\"168\" data-lazy-type=\"image\" data-src=\"http:\/\/www.radiation-dosimetry.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/effective-half-life-biological-half-life-definition.png\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Como pode ser visto, os mecanismos biol\u00f3gicos sempre diminuem a dose geral da contamina\u00e7\u00e3o interna.\u00a0Al\u00e9m disso, se t\u00a0<sub>1\/2<\/sub>\u00a0\u00e9 grande em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com t\u00a0<sub>b<\/sub>\u00a0, a meia-vida efetiva \u00e9 aproximadamente a mesma que t\u00a0<sub>b<\/sub> .<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Este artigo \u00e9 baseado na tradu\u00e7\u00e3o autom\u00e1tica do artigo original em ingl\u00eas.
